β. Therefore we reckon that a man is made righteous by faithfulness

ς. Is he the God of the Judeans only? is he not also of the Gentiles?
Ω. χ. ζ. Yes, of the Gentiles also: (3:29)
η. since indeed there is one God,
ο. who shall make righteous the circumcision by [ἐκ] faithfulness,

ο. Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also?
For we say that faithfulness was reckoned unto Abraham for righteousness. (4:9)
ς. How was it then reckoned, while he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision?
ω. ζ. Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. (4:10)
η. And he received the sign of circumcision,

For the promise that he should be the heir of the world
was not to Abraham or to his seed through the Torah,
β. but through righteousness of faithfulness. (4:13)
For if they which are of the Torah be heirs,
faithfulness is made void,
and the promise hath been nullified: (4:14) (cf. 3:31)
Χ. χ. because the Torah produceth wrath:
for where no Torah is, there is no transgression. (4:15) (cf. 5:13, 5:20, 7:8)
α. Therefore it is of faithfulness,
β. that it might be by grace;

10. and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them,
